I can say to myself, I’ve told you so. I don’t like Craigas a Bond, I simply hate this ladyas M, but I’ve still watched new ones as it was good fun. And I like to relax from time to time. Comparing to old ones everything was worse, even girls, but it was watchable. What they’ve done in Skyfallis simply ridiculous.
Bond is shot in the first minutes of the movie, falls into the river and we’re expected to believe that he’s dead.

I was amazed. Finally there would be something smart to watch, the series which would be intellectually demanding. Not just another dinner supplement. How horribly wrong I was. First episode was alright, especially because of the above scene. But after that it was worse and worse. It’s simply just another soap opera. They’ve ditched all intellectual stuff, or in the best case made it a background, for love story between Willand MacKenzie.
Fox started the new year with the new show, The Following. As I enjoy watching thrillers I’ve had to check it out. Especially that a lot of people on the Web recommended it. Yeah, I know, it means nothing. Anyway, I’ve got through first episode and it wasn’t bad. Nothing new, nothing brilliant, but decent. It had this typical for American television patronizing style. Characters are constantly explaining each detail of the story, so even half-brain could catch up.
When I’ve started reading The Bookstore Strikes Backin the newest AtlanticI was thinking, well this is another nerdy lady who has too much of free time and is trying to make a fuss around her. How wrong I was. Or actually how well Ann Patchettis able to tell this story. As I’m always saying, I would read manual to screw driver with flush on my face if it was written by Stephen King.
I was really looking forward to see The Cabin in the Woods, but when I’ve finally did I was disappointed. The scenario is such a piece of crap that I can’t imagine how somebody could approve production. We have ancient evil god who needs to receive human blood sacrifices from five people, so group (I wonder who was financing them as they seemed to have endless funds) devoted to keep evil out of the world has made some kind of computer-altered environment (rip off from Hunger Games) and are luring innocent people there.

Then I’ve read somewhere, Google again was my best friend, that this setup thingy takes network settings from Internet Explorer.
Today I’ve read on Wiredthat Kindle App has been updated with ability to read comics. Yay! I’ve said, or rather thought, and updated it immediately. And indeed Panel View works great. Reading is pretty smooth. But there is one glitch. I can only read on my phone or in Cloud Reader. No option for tablet. At first I’ve thought that it’s just about my device. But no, some titles, like A Game of Thrones, can be downloaded to tablet.
