CNN from yesterday

And as a word of explanation. I don’t think that only Americans are stupid. I’m sure that if such concert would take place in Poland, the situation would be the same. But maybe somebody could tell me how people can save our environment by polluting the air with their cars and by leaving tons of garbages. I really don’t know. The only one person who get there by bicycle was the CNN reporter.

FBI in San Diego psychiatric hospital

Agent: “Hello. I would like to order 19 large pizzas and 67 cans of soda.” Pizza Man: “And where would you like them delivered?” Agent: “We’re over at the psychiatric hospital.” Pizza Man: “To the psychiatric hospital?” Agent: “That’s right. I’m an FBI agent.” Pizza Man: “You’re an FBI agent?” Agent: “That’s correct. Just about everybody here is.” Pizza Man: “And you’re at the psychiatric hospital?” Agent: “That’s correct. And make sure you don’t go through the

Godwin's Law

Also it is tradition that if somebody compare anybody to Hitler or Nazi, the discussion is over and person who used such argument is considered as “looser”. It also sounds like nonsense to me, but maybe I’m reading wrong Usenet newsgroups or forums. I don’t know. Godwin’s LawOh, and maybe it’s like that because Hitler and Nazis means more for Polish guy, than for other nations and we don’t use such names very often.

I love Quentin!

I saw a new movie of Quentin, Grindhouse: Death Proof. And I must say that it’s amazing. Beatiful music, climate of real road movie, and pictures. The pictures in movie are awesome, they are stylized to look like from the 70’s movie. Film reel is dirty with scratches, sometimes it jumps, sometimes it’s black and white. It’s excellent. And of course dialogs, yes, dialogs are the Quentin’s masterpiece. You feel all the aspects of character, and you know who he really is from the way he talks.

I want my car back!

I’m moving through the city by public transport for near a month now. And I’m sick of it! Yes, I’m grambling. If you never used public transport in Warsaw, you don’t know what I’m talking about. I’ll describe it shortly. I’m getting up at 6 am to get a shower, eat breakfast, etc. At 7:30 I’m leaving home to get to the bus stop, luckily just few meters from the place I live.

Welcome!

What to write in the first post on my new blog… I have never liked blogs. But now, maybe because I’m getting old, I feel that I should have one. So, here it is. Something about me? OK. My name is Peter, I’m from Poland, and I’m computer geek interested in movies and Stephen King’s books. Why this blog is in English, not Polish? Well, my very best friend of mine is American, so it would be kind to let her understand what I’m writing.
