This year we’re celebrating 15 years of McDonalds in Poland. Because of that Mac decided to run credit card payment for Polish customers. I must explain that credit cards are in Poland for several years now. But Mac avoided this way of making payments very long. Most of other restaurants had such service years earlier, even KFC. And people in Poland used to talk that our local companies are not up to date, but you see… not only Polish:)
Funny thing happened in Kielce City in Poland. New parking lot was built in housing estate and there wouldn’t be anything funny about that, if not a cube hole in the middle of it. It happened because one of the residents went on holiday vacation and left car on old parking lot. Builders couldn’t move this car, so they built new parking lot around it. Now there is pretty hole!
Today I’ve watched a movie Cujo, based on a novel of Stephen King. In this movie father told to son that there are no monsters in real world there are only in fairy tales, because he was afraid of monster in his closet. When I heard that, I got such thought that there are monsters in real world, but it’s not such easy to identify them like in fairy tale or movie.
From today my best friend Rafael is a father! He has a daughter, and I must say that she is beautiful! You can see her picture below, it’s not good, because made by mobile phone, but I promise that as soon as I get better one I would post it here. So I’m saying, Congratulations Rafael and Natalie (his wife)! [singlepic=11,320,240] Hot news! The name of this little sweetheart will be Amelia!
Now in Poland is such case. Woman couple years ago hired a professional killer to kill her husband. He did his job, but something went wrong and woman went to jail. What's funny, and really sad, about it is the fact that this woman is getting annuity for her dead husband. So in the moment she will be leaving prison, she would have a 40 000 $. Hiring a killer cost her about 1 500 $, so it's quite good business.
Watch how unconcerned are people in NY. To console New yorkers I must say that in Warsaw is similar. Maybe not that bad, but not good. Sad, but true. People don’t care each other anymore, mainly. There are exceptions, you know who I’m talking about? Don’t you, Rebate?:) [youtube 5TNTq3nhuh0 Bike theft in NY]

These words are targeted to my friend who asked me if there is Starbucks in Poland, and where very surprised that there isn’t:) One of best coffee I’ve ever drunk was French Vanilla from Starbucks, yummy:)
