Is fb.liox.eu safe?

I saw following search phrase in Google Analytics“fb.liox.eu is it safe” for my site. I’ve checked it in Google if you can learn anything about it from other sites and as I’ve expected, you can’t (my site isn’t too popular after all). So let me try to answer it. I know that I wouldn’t be objective as site is mine, but I’ll try to reply as best as I can.

FUN: Google image search not exactly finished yet:)

I’ve read interesting article recently about improvements in Google Search. Especially interesting was part about ability to provide image as search input. So I’ve did a small test, I’ve provided my avatar to Google and you can see results below. As you can see results are not perfect (to say the least), but it’s interesting (and a little bit creepy) technology.

Why Google's 2-step verification sucks

Recently I have started using Chrome as primary browser (and I’m happy so far). Because of that I’ve needed to log into my Google account to be able to use Reader and other Google apps. I’ve typed my login and password, but as I’m using 2-step verification I was asked to input a code I should’ve received by sms message. I was trying to log on August 30th somewhere around the noon and was waiting for code to arrive for a good while, then finally gave up and used Printable backup codes (good that I was already authorized on Firefox as I’ve lost this printout).
