Next episode of my music discoveries. This time I’ve discovered Fear of the Dark - Iron Maiden. It’s good, very good. I like it. As a big horror fan I had funny feeling when guy was singing “I have a constant feel that something’s always here”:)
I like my last.fm subscription and I think I’m gonna keep it. There is still so much music to listen to. Oh, and this is not my favorite kind of music.
I’ve seen the last lecture of Randy Pausch “Achieving Your Childhood Dreams”. And only one thing I can say right now is wow. This guy was amazing (was, because unfortunately he died on 26th of July this year, RIP). I wish I had such professor when I was at university doing my MA. He was quite a guy, with power and energy, and he was very good with people I believe.
It’s shame to admit, but I’ve just discovered Deep Purple. It’s shame because I should have discovered this band a long time ago. The first track of Purples I’ve heard was When a Blind Man Cries and it was stunning. It’s so f*** awesome! Thanks last.fm for letting me discover and listen to it. I’m now the owner of the last.fm subscription, so there would be more interesting music discoveries in the short future, I hope.
Some time ago I’ve mentioned that I’m going to start writing posts about Czech cuisine. Well, I didn’t forgot about it. But there is someone who is already doing that and is doing it good. So there is no place for me I believe:(

To all my readers (1? 0?)! You’ve probably noticed that my blog was down recently. This is because of problems with my hosting provider, btw. never use PC Core, never. But it should be good now. Just in case that someone is reading it:)
Yesterday I’ve watched new Indiana Jones. As a big fan of this movie I was a little afraid about new one. Harrison Ford is not young, and to be adventurer with a hat and a whip you must be really healthy. But as Hollywood has best stunt men ever, it was pretty fun to watch Mr. Jones running and jumping most of time. Story is rather simple and, as it is always in such movies, naive.
First of all I’ll explain meaning of the word “Ahoj”. It means simply “Hi”:) Yes, I’m learning Czech. I’ve found really funny Czech word “napad” which means “idea”. It’s funny because in Polish “napad” means “attack”. So, this is a nice one:)
What can I say after three weeks of living in Czech Republic. I must say, I’m enjoying it! It’s very peaceful here. Everything has slower rhythm. And it’s very good place for people who like to see wonderful places.
It have been a long time since my last post, but there were so many things do deal with… The main news for today is that I’ve became a Czech resident. I’m living in Brno from now and will work here also. I’ll try to write something more as soon as I get some experience in living here. For now take a look at my photos from Uherskie Hradiste (place I’ve spent first night in Czech) and the way to Brno.
Today in Poland is the holiday called Fat Thursday. We’re celebrating the end of carnival (for Poland). From tomorrow if you’re catholic you cannot have fun and eat candies (well, not too much:)). So today I’m gonna eat as many donuts as I can. Donut is a traditional food for this day:)
UPDATE: I’ve eaten 2 donuts today, not to good, I’m getting old:)
